Los discos ‘Rock & Lovets’ y ‘Gimme These Songs!’ viajan desde el punk rock más básico de los inicios de la banda al rock alternativo más denso y cercano al grunge que el grupo de El Paso (TX) ejecutaba a principios de los 90. Se reconocen las influencias de R.E.M, Dinosaur Jr o Hüsker Dü sin dejar de lado sus raíces mexicanas. Además son discos 100% texanos, como demuestran las canciones: Caverns of Sonora, Abducción en Marfa o la cover de Guyana Punch del grupo de culto The Judy’s, originarios de Pearland, TX.

The albums ‘Rock & Lovets’ and ‘Gimme These Songs!’ capture the evolution of the band’s original punk-rock roots to the more dense —and closer to grunge —alternative rock the band was playing in the early 90s.
